With the view of bringing together Nepalese Aeronautical Engineers from all over the world 1st, “All Nepal Aeronautical Engineers Assembly” was called upon on 1st June 2018 at Kathmandu, Nepal.
The Assembly discussed on present status, challenges of the aviation and aeronautical engineering field in Nepal, and the need to form an Engineering Association/Society to overcome the challenges and promote further development in this field.
100+ Aeronautical Engineers, including senior professionals leading the Nepalese aviation industry as well as fresh graduates participated in the Assembly.
Unanimous decision was reached for the establishment of the Aeronautical Society of Nepal (AeSN) to facilitate growth in Nepalese Aviation field and academic growth in Aeronautical Engineering.
The formation committee then worked on to fulfill the requirements for the registration. Finally on 7th January 2019 (2075/09/23 BS), Aeronautical Society of Nepal (AeSN) was officially registered at Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs, District Administration Office, Kathmandu with the Registration Number 329.
Aeronautical Society of Nepal (AeSN) is the first and principle society for aeronautical, aviation and aerospace professionals in Nepal. The organization was officially registered under the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 7, 2019 (2075/09/23 BS), which is now marked as the date of formation of the society.
The committee is now accepting membership applications from aeronautical/aerospace engineers within Nepal and abroad.
