Brigadier General Prasad Bastola is the Chief of Nepal Army Aircraft Engineering Department. Brig Gen Bastola has dedicated more than three decades in serving the Nepal Army Aviation. Additionally, he has also been actively participating in the Air crash investigation within Nepalese Sky whether it be civil or military aircraft.
LTCOL Joyce will describe the current status of ADF UAS, including their recent proliferation across the land force, and discuss the path to a highly autonomous future that includes more than $20B in investment in uncrewed technology.
This presentation will cover a variety of Richard’s projects from early UAV experimental and autonomous systems development in Australia, pioneering hybrid electric propulsion research, through to present day electric propulsion demonstrator and conceptual designs being developed in the UK. The illustration in broad scope of these activities across 25 years may offer an interesting view of changes and potential future directions and opportunities in aerospace research, engineering and industry from an individual perspective.
